Thinking & Practice Tutorial 21/10/13

This session was a continuation of our tutorial from last week where we were shown how to correctly colour balance a portrait. I approached the task with the same methods as last week by changing the colour settings to RGB 1998 and adding an adjustment layer. I then went on to play around with the colour levels using the histogram to see which looked better; by selecting a light and dark tone and then a neutral tone (not the hat or coat as these are over exposed and not neutral colours, so I used the white of her eyes). By then selected an average between each point selected it allowed us to correctly improve the output of light and colour within the photograph.
